Bethany’s funeral and medical expenses

Hi everyone! Thank you for being here. My name is Anna and I am fundraising my mother, Bethany Bishop, to provide donations towards her medical bills.

Bethany was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in December of 2020. Over the course of the past few years, the cancer had spread to her skull, liver, lymph nodes, and chin. Through chemo and non-invasive surgeries, she has been cancer free in all of those places except her chin. For the past year, she has been in debilitating pain due to the cancer causing resorption and shifting in her teeth. After multiple appointments with her oncologist, general dentists, and oral surgeons, she still had no answers as to how this could be resolved. She was referred to MD Anderson in Houston, TX, and was advised that surgery had to happen. After a month of planning and preparing, MD Anderson performed a major surgery to completely reconstruct her mandible jaw in order to remove the cancer on December 18th.

Going through something like this is hard enough, and I don’t want my parents or family having to worry about the cost of giving my mom the time to watch her family experience life.
