Bethany Gonyea, founder of the Peace Project

Bethany Gonyea is the visionary that created the Global Peaceful Cities Project which brought the Albany Peace Project and the Schenectady Peace Project to the Capital Region since 2014. She has taught coherence meditation to uncountable numbers of people. And she has brought this powerful technique to local schools, teaching kids and adults options to violence.
Bethany has been supporting the project mostly by herself with the occasional contributions from dear friends and project enthusiasts.
During this past year, however, she has been suffering from a debilitating disease caused while caring for her sick mother in her mom's home with toxic mold. Bethany is part of the 28% of the population that has a genetic disposition which makes her unable to remove mold from her own body. When mold toxins are not removed, they continue traveling through the body causing more damage over time, especially in the lungs and brain, resulting in stroke or cancer. This is a rare disease and very difficult to treat. Once mold toxins lodge in the body, they are very difficult to remove.. The treatments are costly and not covered by the basic insurance Bethany has.
We are asking people who have seen what a "bright and shining beacon of light she is", to help her at this time. She needs an estimated 50 treatments which cost $400 each. A total of $20,000.
She has touched thousands of people's hearts. Many have know her through the Peaceful Cities Program, others have taken Coherence Athlete classes with her. She has trained people in meditation for free for years, and she has developed a world-class program, the Coherence Athlete program, for which she charges below market prices. All the proceeds from the Coherence Athlete classes have been used for the Peace Projects. We are asking that, if you have been touched by her spirit, to help in any way you can, big or small.
Also we are asking that you help us spread the word around. The funds are needed immediately and so we hope to have a short fundraising campaign. The more people we reach, the quicker we will reach the goal.
In love and appreciation to you.
