Beth and Sam's Story:
Sometimes we meet people who touch our lives in amazing and unexpected ways. For my husband and I, Sam and Beth Lotfi are two of those people. Those of you who know these two personally know how much of a blessing they are as friends, and for many, as loving family members.
Recently, our sweet friend Beth was diagnosed with cancer, more specifically, Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She also battles against fibromyalgia, which causes pain and tenderness in her muscles. I have seen her fight through fibro flare-ups to be the best mommy and wife she can be to her precious son and husband and am always amazed by her determination and strength.
Hodgkin's Lymphoma is treatable and while Sam and Beth are very optimistic for the future there are some issues complicating things. Along with her diagnosis, Beth is also 28 weeks pregnant. She has already undergone biopsy surgery and other procedures and there will be more to come. She will be starting chemotherapy and possibly radiation treatment as well very soon. Unfortunately, her husband Sam, who is the sole provider, was recently let go from his job due to the amount of time he missed in order to be with her at doctors appointments and at her surgery.
Friends and family - The Lotfi family needs our help! While they remain optimistic and hopeful, there are present and future financial needs that must be met. This fund is to assist them with basic living and medical expenses. All donations will go directly to Sam and Beth. Any amount that you can contribute is incredibly appreciated and your prayerful support is encouraged and welcome.
