Hello, my name is Bethan, and I’m a mother of two wonderful children. I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times in our lives, and I’m humbly asking for support as we work to regain stability.

Six months ago, our family experienced a major change when their father and I separated. Shortly after, he unfortunately lost his job, which also meant that the financial support we had been relying on was no longer there. Since then, I’ve been doing everything I can to keep us afloat — working two jobs, cutting every corner possible, and seeking help where I can — but it still hasn’t been enough.

Over the past couple of months, I’ve had to borrow money just to pay rent, and many of our bills are now delinquent. We’ve been visiting the food bank regularly to make sure there’s something on the table. I never imagined being in this position, but I’m doing everything I can to stay strong for my children and provide them with some sense of normalcy and security.

This fundraiser is to help cover rent, utilities, groceries, and other basic needs while I work on getting us back on our feet. Even the smallest amount will make a meaningful difference. Every dollar raised will go directly to keeping a roof over our heads and ensuring my children’s basic needs are met.
