Dear neighbors, family and friends, a young vulnerable family is in need of our support!
A good family, Adam and Beth VanderHeiden and their 3 boys; Preston (8), Brady (6) and Hudson (1) have had their lives turned upside down this past year while Mom (Beth) is battling cancer.
Their fight with cancer began in June 2019, the month Beth turned just 34 years old and was diagnosed with Breast cancer after experiencing issues nursing their new baby Hudson. After a busy and ill 4 months undergoing chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and radiation, Beth is now faced with metastatic breast cancer that is in both lungs and considered stage four.
Adam and Beth are private people but have allowed us to share their story so we can help them in their time of despair. They are a loving faithful and community minded family with a home in the country where they enjoy a small hobby farm that includes chickens, goats, & steers. Adam is a down to earth good guy juggling farming, his deep commitment to rural volunteer fire department and caring for his young family. Beth just finished her degree in nursing in 2019 and established a job with a local hospital, but unfortunately it was halted before it began as she started chemo instead.
As Beth is not able to work as planned and the extra cost associated with the health issues, they are in dire need of financial support. Our hope is to remove some of their financial worries so they can concentrate on what’s really important, family, living life to its fullest and Beth's health. This fund raising will allow them to immediately seek additional opinions on Beth's health care and allow them to create some special and lasting memories with their children, one of them being a trip to Disney World, before Beth begins feeling the effects of the next treatment/chemotherapy. Overall the money will help support their family financially and give them some peace of mind during this very challenging time.
We are forever thankful for your generosity and prayers,
The family of Adam and Beth
