Beth Moore: Tribute to a Mother's Love

Beth Moore spent much of her life caring for others. From pro-bono attorney work to helping friends and family no matter how poorly she felt, to lengthy phone conversations of support, never once talking about herself, her cancer, or the difficulties that were becoming part of her daily life. She gave of herself even when she had nothing more to give…now it is our turn to give to her.

One of the things, Beth loved most was the strong bonds she formed with people; she had a natural ability to develop deep connections with people she met, often bonding within minutes of meeting one another. She had an ease about her, a gentleness that is indescribable, a depth that is unmeasurable.

Beth’s most profound love and devotion were for her daughter, Laura, son-in-law, Casey, and grandson, Leigh. Laura Beth was her greatest joy, biggest pride, and deepest love. The two were inseparable, their bond eternal. As you can imagine, Laura is overwhelmed with grief and her days have been filled with a mountain of tasks that she now faces after Beth’s rather sudden passing. In an effort to allow enough time to get Beth’s affairs in order, Laura will need to pay rent for the next few months, in addition to cremation services, there will be a celebration of life expenses as well as unforeseen costs.

Since learning that Beth lost her battle with cancer, many of you have asked what you can do to help. We would be so grateful if you would join our hope to help Laura and her family in their time of need. Beth lived her life helping others, it is our opportunity now to share an outpouring of love and give back to Beth and her loved ones.
