On Tuesday, April 9th, Beth was medivaced from our hometown of Petersburg, where her and her family reside, to Anchorage with extreme respiratory distress due to a combination of her asthma, respiratory infections, pneumonia, and then complicated by covid. Upon arrival she was intubated and sedated. Casey (Beth’s husband) accompanied her and has been providing incredible support to Beth and providing friends and family with updates. A few days later, April 12th, Beth was transferred to a Seattle hospital where she is currently being treated. She remains on a ventilator with dialysis and fully sedated. Her parents and Casey are with her. She is in the best place with the best medical staff she could ask for.
The Knight/Loesch family is overwhelmed by the amount of support, love, prayers, and well wishes being sent to our beloved Beth and all of us closest to her. They send a heartfelt thank you and are not ignoring anyone but are immersed in Beth's care. Please follow this caringbridge site for updates on Beth.
