Please Help My Sister Beth — A Single Mum Recovering From a Life-Saving Liver Transplant

Hi, my name is Laura and I’m Beth’s sister.

Our family is currently going through one of the hardest times we’ve ever faced. On Monday the 16th of March, Beth underwent a life-saving liver transplant. While we are incredibly grateful she was given this second chance at life, the road ahead will be long and challenging.

Beth is a devoted single mum to her son, Korbin, and he is her whole world. Over the past few years she has worked incredibly hard to provide for him and be the best mum she can be. Seeing her go through such a major surgery and the long recovery ahead has been heartbreaking for our family, especially knowing how much she just wants to be strong and healthy for Korbin.

Now, after such a major surgery, Beth will be in hospital and unable to work for several months while she recovers. During this time, the financial pressure of everyday life doesn’t stop, and the stress of trying to manage everything while healing is overwhelming.

We are hoping to raise some funds to help ease that burden so Beth can focus on what matters most — recovering and being there for Korbin.

The funds raised will help support Beth and Korbin with essential expenses during her recovery, including:

• mortgage

• Groceries

• Household bills while she can’t work

• Travel costs to and from the hospital
