Hello friends. Many of you know my story. Today I'm reaching out because after losing my beloved Doug in May, I've been trying to manage on a single income, which has made it incredibly hard to keep up with rent and utility bills. Things became even more challenging after I was hospitalized in December and spent time in a physical therapy facility.

Since coming home, getting around to manage an apartment that is too big has been nearly impossible. My sister, Melissa, and Cindy, my sister-in-law, have been incredible. They have helped but they have lives that need them. I'm hoping to find a place in Assisted Living. The support from this fundraiser would mean I could stay in my apartment and keep the lights on while I work toward finding a safe and supportive living situation.

I truly hate having to ask for help, but I'm so grateful for any support you can give. Your kindness will make a real difference in my life, and I appreciate you taking the time to read my story.
