Beth Brucker Medical

It's never a good time for a serious medical issue.  But Beth Brucker doesn't do things by half measure.  Despite family obligations, school closing, a global pandemic, and a job furlough, our leading lady still found time to manage emergency surgery.

For those who were unaware, Beth had a CT scan in February 2020.  The results presented a colon infection, which was treated with antibiotics.  So far, so good.

A follow-up colonoscopy a few weeks ago revealed a cancerous tumor where the small and large intestines meet.  

 On the advice of physicians, an invasive operation has been scheduled.  Beth quipped, "...they're plenty of open operating rooms right now!"

When pressed on her condition, she shrugged, "I'm feeling fine, my blood pressure great and my EKG was perfect. If not for finding all this out, I would not know that I was ill."

Fortunately for her family (biological and extended), we did find out.  We hope and pray the treatment is a success.

With a husband, six children, and so many families dependent on her, a group of us decided to launch this GoFundMe for Beth's expenses.  If you are able, please contribute.  Even small amounts add up when we join together.   We beseech those reading this to avoid mentioning it to Beth.  Knowing her she will become very angry and try to donate the campaign to charity.
