Best friend's open heart surgery

I’m writing to ask for your support, if you’re able to give. My best friend, Danielle Arminio, was diagnosed last week with an aortic aneurysm. She needs open-heart surgery immediately and won’t be able to work for at least several months.
Danielle is not only terrified of the operation but is also very concerned about the medical expenses that will inevitably pile up. I want to help ease her stress level as much as possible during this frightening time.
As a self-employed makeup artist, Danielle earns her income from weddings, proms and other special occasions. She is one of the top artists used on photoshoots for Broadway shows, the Rockettes and other advertising platforms. Because she is self-employed her health insurance is modest.
Like most of us, Danielle needs to work to pay her bills, and without her income she and her partner will struggle to care for their family (they have a 14 year old daughter still at home) as they deal with this sudden health emergency.
Due to the severity of this situation, Danielle has had to cancel all of her upcoming jobs for the foreseeable future. I’ve set a goal of $15,000 to help her pay her bills for 3-4 months but hope to raise more for the medical bills as well.
Those that know Danielle know her loving heart. I know that if roles were reversed, she would do anything and everything in her power to help those she cares for.
