Hi, I'm Bessie. That's my baby photo up there. I met my farmer when I was 5 days old at a sale barn. I had pinkeye and navel ill, but it was love at first sight and she brought me home and helped me.

Now I want to help her, and YOU.

See, our farm is for sale. My farmer, like a lot of farmers, rents. Have you ever tried to move with a pet? Just imagine trying to move with me and my herd!!

I want to get a place where YOU can come and meet me and my farmer. She's a great teacher. She teaches people how to take care of animals, and about the long history between us. She can teach you how to ride a horse, milk a cow, train your dog, trim a sheep's hooves, make butter, make wildflower jelly, and all about how humans and animals have shaped each other through the centuries.

I help. I just love people. I love when they just come and lean on my side. People tell me all their troubles and then they feel better. We cows are soothing.

I need YOUR help, before our farm is sold. My farmer has investors who will mortgage an Agricultural Retreat and Educational Center, where you can come and meet me and my herd, stay for a few days if you like, and learn all about us. But we need to raise a down payment and moving expenses - I'm going to need health papers to travel with.
