Besnik Pali

Update 11/14/23:

As many of you already know, Besnik did wonderfully after his initial surgery and chemotherapy. He was back at work and back to his vibrant self. However, during a surveillance study, he was found to have a new lung nodule that requires surgery and chemo/radiation yet again. It's unimaginable what Besnik is feeling right now, the fear and uncertainty, this loud pause in his life. But with medicine and a bit of faith, that is exactly what it will be - a pause before he resumes doing what he loves to do in all walks of life. We'll pray that his symptoms be mild and that his body fights as ferociously as it did last year. Thank you for coming together again and helping Besnik in the one of the few ways we can.

Hi, we are all colleagues of Besnik who is a bright, vibrant, caring and down to earth guy who recently started his career as Physician Assistant. It seems that the good ones get tested by life and this is especially true for Besnik. After experiencing leg pain for some time, Besnik was evaluated and given the life shattering news that he has Ewing Sarcoma. As he starts chemotherapy and prepares for surgery, Besnik will have to be out of work for a predicted year. We are starting this fundraiser to help take a little weight off of Besniks shoulders and and to help him focus on healing and taking care of his health. He takes such good care of his patients and gives his all at work, he deserves more than what life has dealt him at this time.
