Dear Family and Friends,

We would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support, love, prayers and contributions in memory of Benicio.   Benicio’s passing     has been difficult for our family and has left an emptiness in our hearts that weighs heavily on us daily.   Without such caring friends, family, and loves ones supporting us the healing process would be much more difficult.   Thank you again for the love and support.

Sometimes we are in the presence of angels. A spirit so pure, brave and strong that he makes you believe. Beni was our reminder that heaven isn’t so far away, gaining his wings far too soon and forever in our hearts and minds.

For Gabi and Steve, Beni is forever their sweet, Baby Boy. For Cati, her hermanito.

For us, Beni is our nietesito, our sobrinito, our baby cousin.

Some of you have reached out and asked how you can help Gabi, Steve and Cati during this time. Please know that they appreciate your kindness as they navigate through heartache and grief. If you know Gabi and Steve, you know that they are the first ones you call when you need someone you can count on, the first to support for the short and long run. We want to show our support and to help alleviate some of the stress by covering the medical cost and memorial as well.

Any remaining funds will be donated in memory of Beni to the NICU Unit at Dell Children’s Medical Center, thanking the wonderful nurses, doctors, social workers and staff who took care of Beni during his time with us and thoughtfully supported Gabi, Steve and Cati.

We continue sending besitos (lil’ kisses) to Beni and missing him every day, so please know that your contribution is significant and truly appreciated.
