"My name is Blerina Higgins, and I'm starting this GoFundMe to help my brother Besim Jaha, with the ongoing costs of his battle with cancer. The medical bills, ongoing treatment, and potential therapies are overwhelming. We are seeking to raise any amount no matter how small, to ease the financial burden since he's not able to work at the moment. Every donation, big or small, is deeply appreciated and will help us on this journey. Please, don't feel obligated to donate, he can use all the prayers. Besim has four kids, ages 9, 2, 1 and newborn. He was diagnosed with germ cell cancer about three months ago and has been doing chemo treatments in Dallas every other week. His cancer is super aggressive so he has to keep going to Dallas for all his treatments instead of our area. This was so very unexpected and it's been a big financial burden especially with all the little kids. Besim has always been one to help others and always tried to brighten everyone's day. He's never met a stranger. It's been heartbreaking seeing him go through all this when he's barely in his 20s. We know he will beat this, he just has a long journey ahead of him.
