Hi, my name is Bechar, and I’m a Moroccan LGBTQ+ artist living in Toronto, building my life completely on my own.

I moved to Canada chasing something bigger than survival — I came for freedom, creativity, and a future in the music industry. Being far from home, family, and everything familiar hasn’t been easy. I’ve had to hustle every single day to pay rent, study, create, and stay standing — emotionally and financially.

I’ve been accepted into **Toronto Metropolitan University’s Creative Industries program**, a huge step toward my dream of working in the music industry as an artist, producer, and creative professional. This program will give me the tools, connections, and knowledge I need to turn my passion into a real, sustainable career.

As a **queer immigrant**, I don’t have family support here. Every dollar goes to survival — rent, food, transit — which makes tuition and school costs overwhelming. This fundraiser isn’t about luxury; it’s about **access, opportunity, and survival through art**.

If you choose to support me, you’re not just helping me go to school — you’re helping a queer immigrant artist **claim space**, tell stories that matter, and build a future that once felt impossible.

Even sharing this means the world. Thank you for believing in me
