Tuesday, Nov. 11th, Zara made her way over our fenced yard and found herself in a busy intersection where she was then struck by a car. We found her unable to walk; her pelvis was broken in 6 different areas and she had a collapsed lung.

With the support from peers and family, we were able to get her to a specialist in OKC hours later. She is currently stable and awaiting her orthopedic surgery tomorrow morning.

This is an extremely unfortunate event, but the circumstances were in our favor. After 8 weeks of bed rest and a plate in her pelvis, she should be back to her sweet wiggly self, with agility still in her future.

Absolutely anything would help us out with the emergency bills. We’d appreciate it greatly.❤️
