Beryti Fire Recovery Fund

Hey Everyone,

As some of you may already know, our beloved Beryti has suffered a fire that has destroyed its kitchen completely and forced it to close. A group of Beryti's friends and loved ones are starting this GoFundMe to raise much-needed support for the Bistro and its staff to renovate and be able to open again as soon as possible.

For us, and many of you, Beryti is not just another Bistro. It is a home away from home, a space that has brought us together time and time again to dine, dance, and drink. It is a platform for us to celebrate our culture, language, cuisine, and share all the love that they offer with Barcelona and its beautiful people.

Beryti's backstory:

Cindy and Pam are two Lebanese women who left their lives in Beirut in pursuit of a dream: to build a safe space that celebrates their culture and traditions in Barcelona.

With no experience in Spain, without knowing anyone in Barcelona and with no prior understanding of Spanish or Catalan, they built Bērytī from scratch and the bistro is now one of the best restaurants and cultural spaces in Barcelona.

Why we need your help and where will the funds go?

On April 30, the kitchen of the restaurant caught fire and burned completely forcing Pamela and Cindy to close Bērytī. They need our help to raise money to be able to pay for their staff, start the renovation and hopefully be able to open again.
