***Update*** While we knew Bert's situation over the past weeks was at the ned, he was technically still with us....We are beyond saddened to now say that, as of this past Wednesday 4/24, Bert has passed away and moved on to the realm of Heaven.....

We would also like to take this opportunity to extend an enormous gesture of gratitude to everyone for all of your support! The kind words, messages, stories, music links and most of all- $$donations! It is a bittersweet feeling to see so many of his friends come together to honor what an amazing father, husband, son and overall human being Bert was....

A couple of weeks ago an incredibly talented musician (musical therapist) came to give a dose of live music medicine to Alberto Moreno Guedez As we sat around listening to her, she asked us to tell her about Bert and what is special about him. We each shared our thoughts and relayed the many comments that we have received from you all via Facebook, email, text, phone, etc.

She gave us this beautiful gift of a song she wrote on the spot made up of our sentiments of Bert. We hope that there is something in here that you can relate to and that it captures a fragment of how Bert's loving and generous soul impacted you.

Thank you all for the incredible outpouring of love and generous support over the last few weeks. For those from near and far that dropped everything to come say goodbye to Bert/Berts, you will never know the deep impact that has made on us. Hearing the stories of Bert through the years from growing up in Jersey to College to Floor days to endless music festivals to scheming the next big deal...was so special and truly has helped us start the healing process.
