Family, friends and those in between. We are asking for help for our dear family member Berto he is a Husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and cousin to us and anything will help. He has been in treatment for a liver transplant for the past 11 years and it took 9 years to get on the transplant list. This past year and half have been difficult as he has been battling with internal bleeding which is caused from a very rare form of A.V.M Arteriovenous malformation which is an abnormal connection between your arteries and veins.
The location of these veins is attacking his pancreas and small bowel, it’s so rare that only 80 cases in the whole world are known of this particular condition in that location. After spending months in and out of the hospital he was transported to R.R. UCLA medical center and is being evaluated to have a Quadruple transplant of his liver, pancreas, small bowel to treat his condition.
His family lives in the Bay Area and having to figure out living accommodations for the next 6 months to a year and is in need of any help you can provide to cover the cost of his care and to temporarily relocate so he can undergo this major surgery. He will need two nurses to watch him over a 3-4 month recovery process 24/7.
Please help us with prayer and whatever is on your heart to give financially.
Thank you and God Bless.
