Hi, my name is Berti.

I’m a 10 year old golden retriever, and if there’s one thing I’ve always known how to do, it’s love people with my whole heart. I wag my tail for everyone I meet. I bring smiles on tough days. And I never ask for much, just a warm spot to curl up, a kind hand, and maybe a treat (or two).

But now… I need help.

I’ve been diagnosed with lung cancer, and while I’m trying to be strong, the truth is, I can’t fight this alone. The treatments that could save my life and give me more time with the people I love are expensive. My family is doing everything they can, but the costs are more than they can manage on their own.

If you can spare anything, even the cost of a coffee it would mean the world to us. Every donation goes directly toward my treatment, medicine, and care.

I still have so many belly rubs to give, so many walks to take, and so many quiet moments to share. I’m not ready to say goodbye. Not yet.
