Hi, my name is Jo and I have rehomed Bertie last night after an emergency rescue from a cruel existence. He is a lovely dog and had been left for days without water or food in the recent hot weather we have had. On top of this he has been over bred and has got dreadful breathing issues. I took him to my vet this morning and they have advised BOAS surgery as soon as possible. This will cost me approximately £5000. As a student nurse that is a massive amount of money to find in a short space of time. However, with the power of go fund me and social media platforms, I am quietly confident I can save this gentle soul and give him a chance to experience a loving, friendly home with three big doggie sisters who think he is their baby boy and just mother him.
