Bertha’s Road to Recovery

Hello this is Brenda, Bertha's niece. As most of you know she was in an accident in Mexico. She was on her way to her family members ' house from the airport when the car she was in lost control and hit a pole. Unfortunately it hit where she was sitting. She had surgery where metal plates were placed in her pelvis, and is looking at a possible second surgery on her brain. She suffered severe brain trauma and is ICU in a Mexican hospital. She can't come back because she is in a very delicate state. We ask for donations to help with medical expenses as well as hotel stay for her husband and kids since there are no family members that live in the immediate area. She suffered a fractured pelvis, cranium, and she continues to bleed in her brain. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as this will be a long recovery for her. 

Hola soy Brenda, sobrina de Bertha Villalvazo. Como muchos ya saben, ella sufrió en un accidente mientras iba en camino del aeropuerto, al pueblo de sus familiares. El auto perdió control y dio contra un poste. Desafortunadamente el golpe fue al lado del copiloto donde ella iba sentada. Sufrió trauma severa en el cerebro. Se fracturó el cráneo, al igual que la pelvis. Ya lleva una operación en donde le atornillaron placas. Esta en cuidado intensivo, y hay posibilidad de una segunda operación en el cráneo. Su estado está muy delicado como para trasladarla a los EEUU. Pedimos ayuda para sus gastos médicos, y para hospedaje de su esposo e hijos como no hay familiares que vivan cerca del hospital.
