Hi, my name is Miah, and I’m raising funds for my incredible mom, Bertha Diaz.

Recently, my mom was diagnosed with two meningioma brain tumors. To prevent further growth, she will begin proton radiation therapy at MD Anderson in Houston starting April 28th. This treatment will require her to stay in Houston for 5 weeks, followed by a 6-week recovery phase. We’re raising funds to help cover the costs of lodging, travel, medical expenses, and daily living while she focuses on her recovery.

Many of you know my mom not only for her kindness and generosity, but also for being tough, strong and fiercely independent. She’s spent her whole life taking care of others, and now it’s time for her to lean on those around her.
