Hi everyone,

This is dedicated to Bertha Hernandez Cabezas, the kindest mother and wife. I just wanted to give everyone some more information on who my mom is. The perfect word to describe her is selfless. She has the sweetest soul and always took care of others, even when she was in pain. She has been battling stage 4 breast cancer for a little over a year now, and she still tried her best to take care of our family. She is the glue to our family.

She loved Disney even though she said it was for little kids. She loved to eat food and loved our cat (even though she said she didn’t). She would watch church every day and pray for those who couldn't. She liked to go “cruising” as she always said & loved to go shopping. She never put her needs above anyone else and had the biggest heart imaginable. We are extremely lucky and grateful for all the time we had with her.

Unfortunately, she had an ischemic stroke a few days ago and was not able to recover due to the cancer damaging her blood. We are spending her final days with her and are saying goodbye. If you could help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated.

As sad as we are to let her go, she will be with God, and that is exactly where she would want to be. Leave and rest in peace Mama. We love you.
