I am starting this gofundme to help out an active duty Navy family. Jason and Jodi have been married for 17 years and have 3 children, Abigail 14, Emma 8, and Alex 6.
They had a disastrous grease fire at their home on the 14th of December which was a total loss. Luckily, the family is doing well. The oldest, Abigail, is the hero in this story. She helped save her sister Emma and bother Alexander, both of whom have autism.
The family is moving into a new home hopefully by this week. He did not have any additional renter's insurance and his renters policy will only cover a small portion of the family's belongings.
He is strapped for cash and has lost all his Christmas presents, no to mention just about all their possessions. To add insult to injury, his wife and middle child's birthdays are on the 21st and 22nd of December as well.
Simply having a fire take all your possessions is terrible in and of itself, but for it to happen over the holidays makes things even worse. I ask that you please consider giving what you can to help them get back on their feet. Every little bit will help.
