Bert Lee work through eviction and housing challenge

Hello all! A cherished member of our songwriting and musical community Bert Lee and his lovely wife are working through a roller coaster ride of an eviction situation and having trouble finding another spot to live. They are safe and have a roof over their heads, but have been forced to put all their belongings into storage and move into a hotel for the time being. While we all may not be realtors or landlords and cannot offer a room at the inn per say, some of us may be able to offer a donation to help cover the costs of incidental and unforeseen fees that come along with hotel living, apartment searching, broker's fees, etc to make this unexpected challenge feel a bit smoother, give them a safety net and help them feel more comfortable as they are forced to abandon their home and move into the new unknown.

Community is the most important thing we have, especially in these turbulent and unforgiving times - we all must protect and care for one another. If you have warmth in your heart and a dollar in your pocket we humbly ask to make good use of it for a little while, as we believe the spirit of solidarity will see it returned back to you in your eventual time of need. PS. Dan Saulpaugh's yearly birthday bash (DANFEST!) will be in benefit of this situation as well if you would like to attend and donate in person, it will be held at the Gin Mill on Feb 20th. Many local songwriters featured TBA.
