Everyone has been asking us how they can help during this hard time as Kendra battles PPD and anxiety.
We are in need of fencing in our backyard, that way when we transition Kendra home she will no longer feel trapped inside with the kids.
What happens when Kendra is home and having a depressive episode and/or anxiety attack is unable to leave the house even just to drive to the park. Therefore creating a prison which worsens her symptoms.
The solution Kendra and her doctor came to was to fence in our backyard which is currently wide open to a very busy alleyway. By installing a privacy fence we would be creating a safe haven for Kendra and the kids to enjoy.
By donating to this project you will be giving Kendra a chance to empower herself again as she resumes caring for the kids. She'll regain her sense of freedom and capability which the depression has stolen. Instead of being locked away worrying this will give her a chance to be outside enjoying life with our kids!
