Funeral Expenses for Timothy Berry

On July 12, 2020, Timothy Berry passed away from unexpected liver failure. We were already asking for help with bills that we are behind and now have to plan and pay for a funeral. We didn’t have life insurance or anything to help w the cost. If you could please give what you can, we would appreciate it. Thank you Tim Berry (my father)has been in and out of the hospital a lot recently. He has cirrhosis of the liver and a hernia. To which both conditions have been causing issues. On June 27th, they decided to put TIPS on his liver so he would stop leaking fluids out of his belly button. They released him on July 1st against his begs and pleads not to be. Well, on July 3rd his ammonia had built up and he was confused bc he hadn’t had a bowl movement to discard the ammonia. I called 911 and it took all of the paramedics and myself to convince him to go to the hospital. Come to find out, he shouldn’t have been released, and he now has an infection in his body, along w pneumonia. The infected fluid built up in his abdomen and pushed on his lungs so he could not breathe. Lucky for him, I was running late for work and caught the signs of the ammonia. Otherwise, he probably would not be here. He’s currently in ICU and on a BPAP breathing mask to force air into his lungs. He’s doing a tad bit better, but he has a long road to recovery ahead. He will be in the hospital for atleast several weeks, if not months. Bc of his current state I have not been able to work bc I don’t want something to happen and not be able to drop everything and go to the hospital. I am his medical power of attorney, and speak for him, on his behalf. With covid, we were already a bit behind on bills and were finally playing catch up. and now with this we will be even more. I’m 3 months pregnant, and have 2 older children, and for now I uber to and from the hospital. We were also in the process of trying to move/ buy a house and this has put a hold on things. Everything look rough now, but we are all praying for a positive outcome. Anything helps, wether it’s $5 or larger. And if you cannot, please say a prayer for us and that my dad recovers and comes home. We appreciate any and all help. I will try my best to update on here if not daily, but every few days. Thank you!
