Berry Creek Families Fire Relief Fund

On September 8, 2020 the entire town of Berry Creek, CA burnt down in the Bear Fire. I am the K-2 teacher for Berry Creek Elementary, which was completely leveled by the fire. With the exception of a couple residents and one heroic fire fighter who saved their homes, most of the families left everything behind to get out and get safe.  I have created this fundraiser to help these families. They are scattered across the north state staying with friends, in hotels, with family, or in shelters. They have children and pets with them. Kids are doing distance learning from where ever they are, parents are scrambling to get roofs over their heads, clothes on their backs, and beds to sleep in. They are going to need to replace everything they own. I have created this fundraiser to help them do that. My hope is to help provide them with basic necessities, money for food, shelter, or gas.
