Hello I am Ryan Gabrio. I am raising funds for my mother in law. My mother in law was hit and drug under a vehicle by a drunk driver. She was life flighted to a near by trauma hospital. Where now she begins her fight for her life as she is not gonna lose her foot like 1st thought. Also had severe internal bleeding but that also was able to be stopped and also multiple broken bones including her pelvis her collarbone and multiple ribs and broken bones throughout her body. She is on a ventilator to help her breathing. Because the puncture wound to the lung is to much on her to do on her own. This woman has a fight of her life on her hands with 4 grandchildren that need their grandmother Please help her if you can please anything will help!!

Most recent update the drs went in at 12:30 the next day to stop the pelvic bleeding when they went in to stop it the bleeding had stopped on its own and they didn’t need to stop it. She went through 4 hours of surgery to fix her broken bones which were the most crucial to her health. She had to have a partial hip replacement, a entire new pelvis full of metal rods, pins, and screws. They went to fix her ankle/foot and found every ligament and tendon connected to her ankle was torn away from the bone so they did a reconstruction to her ankle. She has a pin through the bottom of her heal up to her ankle with pins on both sides keeping it in place that will stay in for at least 6 weeks. The drs were very pleased with her surgery. She came out of surgery and got back to her room and needed an emergency chest tube as her lung had collapsed due to all the multiple ribs that were broken. She’s on a ventilator bc her body is to weak to breathe on its own with all her broken ribs it’s to painful for her. When the drs were working on her they discovered her liver had a stage 2 bruise on it that we didn’t know about before hand. 

Update 12/16 she had to have another surgery to fix her broken collarbone she has pins screws and a plate in her collarbone to hold it together. She had a ekg to make sure her heart was okay bc it keeps racing but the ruled that to be from the pain bc the test came back normal. She is waiting to have an mri done tonight to see if the ligaments in her neck are torn if not she is able to take off her collar and try to get more relief. She’s had 13 units of blood so far with all the multiple broken bones it’s to be expected. She still has a very long road ahead of her but she’s showing improvement everyday and a will to live to tell her story. Please continue to pray for her as she needs all the prayers she can get.
