My little brother is an amsterdam and in need of open heart surgery. The operation alone costs 55000 euros. Being young and feeling immortal he let his travel insurance lapse. The doctors over there estimate the hospital stay ,recovery and surgery will go well over 300000 dollars. As a family we do not have auch funds.
