Hi all

Our Dad/Grandad passed away late on the 27/09/25 over in Alanya, Turkey.

We flew there on the 17/09 and thought we were going to enjoy a week of family time. However, after a couple of days Bernie was rushed into hospital. His blood sugar was too high and was causing confusion - he has then quickly gone down hill and was intubated and then gone into kidney failure. (We are still waiting official post mortem results)

Bernie did take out medical insurance but it has come to light that it is invalid. Therefore, we do have at present a very large medical bill. But we are desperate to raise the funds to repatriate him and get him back home to his family.

This is a very last resort for our family to set up this page, but we are desperate to get him home. Any donation will be gratefully received and appreciated, no matter how small. If anyone has any further support they can offer or advice, please do let us know.
