Hi! Bernie’s dad’s here, our lovable gentle giant Bernie has been diagnosed with bone cancer, Osteosarcoma. We’ve decided to attempt to give him the best quality of life possible in the time he has left. He is at the stage where hopefully, amputation, and chemotherapy will extend his quality of life for enough time that we would like to give it to him. He has been in pain for a while and now we know why. Already, the amputation has relieved much of his pain but it is only the beginning of the journey for us.

Even with insurance, the costs of the rest of treatment will be upwards of 15k. We have done our best to pay for the visits, medications, and tests to lead us up to this spot and we are going to need a little bit of help getting across the finish line. Treatment options start with the amputation but will

include chemotherapy, as well as trying to enroll him in a Vaccine Trial which will require travel to participate. All of this will require continued x rays, blood tests, and other medical expenses.
