We made the decision to temporarily close our bakery and have all of our employees tested due to a positive covid case amongst our staff. While we are paying all staff their hourly sick pay rate, they have missed out a week’s worth of tips. Our employees earn and rely on daily tips as part of their regular income. Being closed has proven to have a negative impact on their pocketbooks and thus the ability to pay their February bills on time. All funds will be evenly distributed to our non-management employees. Owners and managers will not receive charitable funds. Any amount donated would be highly appreciated by our loyal and loving staff. And ME! XOXO “Bernice”
