We all knew Carl and the impact he had on everyone he met. His passing will have a lasting effect on all of us and especially his beautiful wife. ~A true American hero passed away from COVID. Carl Bernhard Bröker, was a highly decorated war veteran (retired), and Aurora Police Department detective (retired). He had adventures all over the world and made an impact everywhere he went.

The biggest value you can hold true in life is helping others. At the end of your life, can you look back and say you made a change and influenced someone’s else life? This is exactly how he lived his life and the impact he had on others (not just his family) is unmeasurable. The United States, the Netherlands, and Indonesia lost a warrior, a father, and a mentor to ALL.

There’s a saying is that you die twice. You die once, when take your last breath, and a second time you when your name isn’t spoken anymore; Carl will never die because his name will be spoken, and idolized for decades to come.
