Hi, My name is Jarnesha James , the Sister Of 14 year old Bernell James who was lost to the act of senseless gun violence in the city of New Orleans , on November 21st , 2023 . Bernell was an outgoing , happy , funny kid who enjoyed joking around . Bernell also known as ( Bj ) was a member of Kipp Morial football team which lead to the championship. He loved music he also was a member of The Roots of Music and Kipp Morial marching band. Bernell was born on October 9, 2009 . He was set to graduate from the 8th grade this school year . Bernell maintained a 3.5 gpa in school . We the family are asking for help and giving Bernell the proper burial that he well deserves. Anything helps may god be with you all and finds kindness in our hearts .
