Bernardo Romo

My name is Jacob Moorehead, and I am setting up this fundraiser for former friend and coworker Bernardo Romo.

Bernardo was a great manager, a loving father, and one of the most genuinely caring people I have ever met. Through his time at Trader Joe's, he made a profound impact on every person who ever had the pleasure of working with him. He remembered every little detail you would share with him, matched the passion you had for your own interests, and took the time to get to know everyone he worked with. I'll never forget how special he made me feel and how welcoming he was to every single person at Trader Joe's. After talking with many of my coworkers, it is clear they had the same experience. He excelled at making connections and thrived at making those connections grow even stronger. He was an incredible person who went incredibly too soon and he will be deeply missed.

His sudden loss has sent shockwaves through our community and we wanted to put something together to provide any sort of relief for his family in this time of need. Whether it is funeral services, food, or anything of need at the current moment, this money will go to a great cause. Any amount is deeply appreciated, and we thank you for your generosity.
