Bernard "Bernie" Yenelouis departed his body last Wednesday night, March 27, and his last eight months were more comfortable and filled with friendship, art, and culture because of the love and contributions of his dear friends from throughout the world in the GoFundMe campaign launched last fall for his 60th birthday.
We shared all of the thoughtful remarks and declarations of love and gratitude as it went, and he was so moved and felt very loved. In fact, a community surrounded him with love and support of every kind the whole time to the very last hour, in spite of the pandemic obstacles. THANK YOU ALL!
One final lap is to attend to the remaining bill for funerary expenses, legal, and to hold his archive until its care is settled. That simply means a few more thousand dollars to close this phase and transition to his story embedded in his archive.
