Bernard and Lil flood damage

Hi. I've set up this fundraiser on behalf of my incredible grandparents Bernard and Lil. They are both in their 80s and unfortunately were victims of horrendous flooding, to the point they can no longer live in their precious home for the foreseeable future. Early hours this morning their front door had to be kicked through to let the flood of water out of their home before being evacuated which has left both environmental and emotional damage. (the water came half way up the window) Their home was their life and devastated just does not cover the extent of the damage. We do not know the full extent of the water damage yet. To make things worse, their home insurance ran out TWO days ago so they are unable to claim so I am asking.. Begging.. If you could spare any money what so ever it could not go to more well deserving people as we have to try and fix it ourselves. Every content of downstairs has been destroyed.. From their settee to their cutlery. My Nan and Gramp are well respected people and are the sweetest, kindest people you could ever meet in your life. Sentimental antiques can not be replaced.. But as a community I'm praying we can pull together to help them in their hour of need. To see the heads of our family so heartbroken is absolutely crippling. My gramps is well known to the local rugby club and first aid as well as being santa for 60 years by visiting schools and care homes or being in the grotto/guiding the reindeer down The Mount and that's barely scratching the surface on anything else they have both given to the community. If there are also any trades people out there that can offer their services and help it would be much appreciated. I am personally begging you.
