On June 18, 2018, Bernadette was hit by a vehicle while riding her bicycle in St. Paul. Luckily, she seems to have escaped any major injuries; unluckily, she racked up a lot of minor ones and is looking at an extended hospital stay, between recovering in the ICU and healing/rehabbing. We both have family in the area, so most of our immediate needs are being met, but if you're looking for a way to help we can definitely use assistance in staying on top of our ordinary living expenses without B's income. Any donation here will be put to that purpose (rent, utilities, feeding the cats).
