We are raising funds to help give Bernadette Michelle Maughan (Shelly) the dignified farewell she deserves.

Shelly was raised in care and faced many challenges throughout her life. She was a mother of three sons. Two of her sons are currently fostered with other families, and sadly we have no contact with them. Her youngest son, Sean, has been fostered with a family member. Due to these circumstances, Shelly had no immediate family able to take responsibility for funeral arrangements.

Shelly passed away suddenly after suffering a massive heart attack. Prior to her passing, she had attended hospital with chest pain and was later sent home with antibiotics she never got the right treatment at that hospital they never checked her for her heart when she said she was having chest pains

We are now trying to raise funds to cover funeral and burial costs, so Shelly can be laid to rest with dignity and respect, and so her children can know their mother was cared for in her final journey.
