My name is Taylor Horn, and I am the youngest daughter of Bernadette Davis. On January 1, 2026, our family experienced an unexpected and heartbreaking loss when our mother passed away.

Nothing truly prepares you for losing a parent, especially one like our mom. Bernadette was bold, unapologetic, and full of life. She loved fiercely, laughed loudly, and cared deeply for those in her life. Above all else, she was devoted to being a mother. Being “Mom” wasn’t just a role she played. Her children were her greatest pride, her purpose, and her joy.

She leaves behind four children who are now facing the unimaginable reality of having lost both parents. As we grieve, we are also navigating the unexpected expenses that come with laying our mother to rest and honoring her life in a way that reflects the love she gave so freely.
