A few short weeks ago Steve Bernacki went to the hospital for stomach pains. He was thinking that he had some gallbladder related issue, but unfortunately testing revealed that he has pancreatic cancer that has spread to his liver.
Steve is a fighter with close family ties to wife, children and grandchildren. He is going to do whatever it takes. He is in the best of care and will be starting chemo treatments. He has taken short term disability so that he can give this fight everything he has.
The road to recovery is going to be extensive and expensive. A portion of all donations will be given to a non profit to be determined by Steve's family. Remaining funds will be used to reduce the stress on the family for daily tasks like grass cutting, housekeeping, pool care, dog watching which will allow Steve to focus on his recovery.
