❤️ "Entangled": A Creative Journey Between Berlin, Morocco and Italy

Art, Love, and Evolution

Hi, I’m Federica, an Italian multidisciplinary artist and designer living in Berlin for the past 8 years.

Berlin has given me so much inspiration, work opportunities, and a deep sense of freedom.

Over the past years, I’ve collaborated with theatres, art festivals, and fashion magazines, creating projects that combine art, dance, costume, and design.

At one point I felt the need to grow in new, more brave and authentic directions, to bring my experience into a new cultural context.

So earlier this year, I joined an artist residency in Morocco.

What started as a creative trip quickly became a life-changing experience.

I truly reconnected with myself, met beautiful people, and unexpectedly my heart opened too.

The Turning Point

A few months before the residency, I had visited Morocco on vacation. From the start, I felt a strong bond to the place. The energy, the colours, the contrast, it all inspired me deeply.

While wandering through the streets, I found a beautiful ring that I always wear and that is very special to me, and the man who sold it to me is called Aziz. I remember thinking he was sweet and charming...

Then I returned to Berlin, and life moved on.

When we crossed paths again during my residency, it felt more than just a coincidence. We reconnected, and something clicked.

Back in Berlin, we stayed in touch.

Conversations turned into dreams, and dreams into plans.

The Plan: A Creative Sabbatical in Morocco

In August 2025, I will take a sabbatical of 6 months, possibly longer, to live in Morocco.

This time will be dedicated to artistic exploration, collaboration, and the beginning of something new, both personally and professionally.

I don’t know exactly what will come from this journey; I trust only my heart and the intuition that this is the path I’m meant to follow.

It’s about having the space and time to discover what will unfold and which seeds will grow.

The Vision: "Entangled"

Together with Aziz, we are aiming to build a creative brand that merges our visions, design, art, and Moroccan craftsmanship.

We imagine designing, drawing and launching a capsule collection of printed t-shirts and accessories, where each piece carries a story of place, collaboration, and care. Using natural materials, we aim to build something sustainable and soulful.

And this is just the beginning.

This is a love story.

I believe that love, in all its forms, is the only force that transcends time and space.

Naïf lines, a poetic and dreamlike style that plays with the absurd and never takes itself too seriously. Between shooting stars and lots of love — this is Entangled.

The name is inspired by the quantum idea that two particles, once connected, stay connected across time and space.

In Berlin, I’ve built my career through passion, persistence, and collaboration, working on inspiring projects with amazing people.

Choosing to pause my career in Berlin and step into the unknown means embracing financial uncertainty, and this is where your support truly makes a difference. It’s not just about money, it’s about trusting in a dream that’s ready to come to life.

This sabbatical is not externally funded; it’s self-initiated.

That’s why I’m reaching out for support during this in-between moment.

I feel deeply grateful to have the possibility, and the courage, to take this step.
