Berks East Gymnastics -
Donation protected
We are a gymnastics club located near Pottstown, Pennsylvania, near the biggest outbreak in our State. On March 15th we were forced to close our doors to help stop the spread of Covid-19.
Our monthly costs to operate the gym are around $50,000.00. Our landlord is expecting full payment of rent each month and insurance payments are due even without our normal revenue stream coming in. We’ve lowered all bills as much as possible, certain ones are unavoidable. We need your support for our business to survive this and we would like to be able to pay our staff to help run virtual training classes to our gymnastics families.
In this time of uncertainty, we are trying to help cover these costs while our gym is closed so that we can come back strong to a community of families that view our club as a second home.
Many of our kids who love and coach, have had to discontinue and are not sure if they will be able to come back due to their home finances. We hope to make this easier for them to return. We are looking to keep our families engaged, learning and working on strength, drills and skills while learning from home.
We are very thankful for everyone who is able pledge and donate anything to help up. Thank you for your consideration in supporting our business during this difficult time for everyone. We have decided to go this route in additional hopes that some larger companies will be able to help match donations
Money from the Go-Fund-Me will be going towards operational costs, staff payrolls, and families that have been hit the hardest by this stay-at-home order. We want to be able to continue to pay our staff, and when we re-open, we want to be able to help scholarship families that may not have the funds, so they can come back to the gym and train again.
To come back strong (which means staying current with mortgage payments and retaining our amazing teachers and support crew) requires careful budgeting and you can help our cause significantly.
Thank you.
