Berkmar HS Alumni, Tasha Grimes' Mothers Funeral

My name is Amanda Dotson. I am a Berkmar HS Alumni. I also had the great privilege to teach Chorus at Berkmar HS for 3 awesome years! In my time there, I met some amazing kiddos . Since leaving Berkmar, I have been blessed to have had some of these kids stay in my life as friends. They keep in touch and share their post High School life experiences with me (highs and lows) and I am so proud of them all! So, when they are hurt, in pain or need some guidance, I feel blessed once more if I am able to help them in any way possible! They are my babies just as my own kids in my heart!
When I received a text this morning from my girl, Tasha Grimes, telling me that her Mom, Mary Warren, had passed yesterday and she didn't know what to do, I wanted to help her as much as I am able! I need your help, everyone! I am starting this GoFundMe to help Tasha as she goes through the process (at age 20) of planning her Mothers (who she was so very close to) funeral! Any financial support we can give her, the less she will have to stress about as 2020 draws to a close and the holiday season approaches.
Any amount you are able to contribute would be so appreciated! She is a Berkmar Alum (Chorus / Dance Team / Drama) and such an amazing kid! Here are a few things she shared with me to share with you...
"My mom was a loving person who made sure that everybody around had everything that they needed. She was a happy, beautiful, positive minded person. Working 3 jobs just to keep a roof over me and my family's head. We traveled the world together, cracked jokes on each other and even done some wild things that she would NEVER do but she did them anyway because her family loved to do it. My mom was blessed to see 57 & god now has her in his hands."
Mary was such a positive, beautiful woman (inside and out).She will be greatly missed! Please help lift the financial burden that a funeral can pose from their shoulders and heavy hearts! Thank you all!
