Hello family, friends, our community members, and all,

My name is Natalia Maldonado and I am fundraising for my gifted and hardworking daughter, Berklie. She is 12 years old and a 7th grader in Keller, TX, where she attends full time school and maintains an all-A honor roll standing. Her teachers have nominated her for the awards of humility and perseverance this past year and commend her leadership and kindness with all people she encounters.

She leaves school every day and commutes across the DFW metroplex to attend 3 hours of practice at an exceptional gym we are blessed to be a part of: World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA). She also attends practice weekly Saturday mornings from 8am until noon.

To say she is determined is an understatement. She has competed in the sport of gymnastics, which she loves to her core, since she was 5 years old in kindergarten. With the support of her coaches, she has grown this past season tremendously and is competing at a Junior Olympic level 7 this season.

The only obstacle we are encountering is the expanding financial commitment. With many challenges and changes over the past year in our personal lives, I am asking for financial support to help her continue on her journey with the sport she loves!

Competition Uniform: $700

Meet Registration Fees (6 Meets): $1050

Travel/Out of State Meets: $1550

Berklie's long-term goal is to become an Elite gymnast by her sophomore year of high school and to be recruited with a full athletic scholarship to OU. She also has dreams of making the Women's National Team and represent the USA in the 2028/2032 Olympics.

WOGA is owned, operated and coached by Olympic medalist, Valeri Liukin and Yevgeny Marchenko (coach to Olympic gold medalist, Carly Patterson). Nastia Liukin (Olympic gold medalist and world champion), and Madison Kocian (Olympic gold medalist) were also trained at WOGA. Current Women's National Team member, Skye Blakely and former Olympic gold medalist, Gabby Douglas are part of the WOGA team family as well.
