Berkley, Jerod, Haven and Garrison Silvey

Dear Friends and Family,
As all of you probably know by now, Little Garrison Dean Silvey arrived into this world 9 weeks early weighing 4.1 pounds and 18 inches long. He's in NICU at Shawnee Mission Hospital. Berkley has been released from the hospital, but her and Jerod will be keeping the roads hot to be with little Garrison every day. Haven has been reunited with her Mommy and Daddy and that makes everyone happy, although she's not allowed to see her little brother while he's in NICU, which makes us all sad as she was SO excited to be a Big Sister!!!
Garrison will be in NICU for two months until his due date of April 15 if everything goes okay. Although he's still on oxygen, he's showing strong signs of being off of it fairly soon. He's lost a little weight, but he's been able to take some nourishment from Momma, so he should gain weight back quickly barring any other complications. Even though he has pneumonia currently, it's now contained to one lung, and he's being treated with antibiotics to help him get over that.
As a family, we're all doing the best we can, but humbly ask for any little bit of help anyone is willing to give. It's hard to ask for help, and we normally wouldn't, but because the situation is looking so long-term, the medical expenses will be astronomical, even with insurance.
If you can find it in your heart to help them out, it would be SO appreciated! If not, then we certainly understand. Thanks everyone who has participated thus far in the Go Fund Me page, and thank you in advance for anyone that is in the position to donate to such an unplanned situation!
