Bergquist's

As you probably have heard by now, on Monday, December 4th, David Bergquist’s home in Rhome, TX burned down. No one was at home when it happened so no one was hurt, but nothing in the home was salvageable and the house has been declared a total loss.  Dave and his wife, Liz, have four children, James, Addy, Tim, and Elly.  While this is a devastating situation at any time for anyone, at three weeks before Christmas, this is especially hard.  The Bergquists are staying with friends and will be there through  Christmas while they straighten out the insurance claim and begin the process of rebuilding.

Many of us have been asking what we can do to help since we all, upon hearing the news, cannot imagine what it must be like for a family to go through this.  The Rhome community has been incredible, providing clothes and shoes to each family member since they had only what they were wearing on the day of the fire.
